BDQ invites members to attend the upcoming Sunshine Coast Branch Meeting, featuring a presentation by Hamish Craig from Scan Built 3D Pty Ltd.

Hamish will present Scan Built 3D: Stop Measuring. Start Capturing. LiDAR Scanning and Point Clouds for Building Designers, offering a practical demonstration of how LiDAR scanning and millimetre-accurate point clouds can transform the building design workflow.

This session will explore how site capture can be taken through to CAD in under 48 hours, with real project examples across residential renovations, heritage assessments, commercial fitouts, and projects involving complex geometry.

Members will also see a live demonstration of the NavVis Ivion platform, providing insight into how virtual measurable tours and high-accuracy point clouds can support more efficient site documentation and design workflows.
