BDQ invites everyone to attend the upcoming Wide Bay Bundaberg Branch Meeting, featuring a presentation by Jason Herbener from Buildable Approvals.
Jason will present on Waterproofing: Potential Problems with Wet Areas, exploring common issues relating to enclosed and unenclosed showers, floor wastes, gradients, and wet area detailing.
The session will include discussion around the requirements under AS 3740 and the NCC 2022 ABCB Housing Provisions, with a focus on how clear details and notes on plans can help notify relevant parties of key requirements. Time permitting, Jason will also facilitate a general Q&A, giving members the opportunity to raise broader questions around building certification and related project considerations.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity to connect with fellow members, exchange insights, and engage in valuable discussion within the local building and design community.
