SUMMARY:BDQ Online CPD Masterclass with James Hardie
DESCRIPTION:Mixed Material Homes: Integrating Fibre Cement & AAC for Design\, Performance\, Compliance and Durability\nBalancing design versatility with performance in mixed material homes. \nJoin Mark Turemko from James Hardie for this session on how fibre cement and AAC can work together in modern mixed material homes. Mark will walk through practical guidance on material applications\, detailing and installation\, so attendees leave with a clear approach to compliant\, durable and weatherproof outcomes. \nBring your lunch\, bring your questions. There’ll be time to get them answered. \nBy the end of this session\, you’ll: \n\nUnderstand the main design and installation factors to consider when combining fibre cement\, AAC and other cladding materials on a mixed material home\nIdentify the weatherproofing\, fire and durability requirements that apply at the junctions between fibre cement\, AAC and adjacent cladding materials\nDistinguish the correct installation methods for each material so junctions and other elements are installed to meet the NCC and manufacturer instructions\n\nExclusive for BDQ Members Only. Earn 1 CPD Type F point while you’re at it. \nClick here to register.
