Sunshine Coast Branch Meeting
BDQ invites members to attend the upcoming Sunshine Coast Branch Meeting, featuring presentations from two of our Industry Partners, Resene and Alspec.
Join us on Thursday 11th June for an engaging evening of insight, discussion, and professional connection at Club Kawana, Wurtulla.
Stef Christodoulou from Resene will present Specifying Resene — an exploration of current specification practices, including what design professionals are looking for in finishes today and the challenges in achieving desired results. Stef will also examine common gaps between expectations and outcomes, discuss the nature of contractor and supplier relationships, and highlight how Resene can best support you in delivering high-quality finishes on your projects.
Hilary Flynn, Specification Manager QLD from Alspec, will then guide members through the key considerations for specifying windows and doors. Hilary will cover why different systems are used across different building types, what information you need to confidently specify the right solution, and how to approach system selection with clarity. Members are encouraged to bring along project examples to discuss as case studies throughout the session.
The evening will also include a brief branch meeting and a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow members and industry partners within the Sunshine Coast design community.
