Join the Mackay branch for “The New Queensland Housing Code – What Building Designers Need to Know,” presented by Jamie Hallinan, Building Certifier at Buildable Approvals.
This session will unpack the new Queensland Housing Code, pending QDC implementation, with Councils set to have a three-year transition period from 1 September 2026 to adopt the code. Jamie will walk through what the new code means in practice and what Building Designers need to start considering as the transition period begins.
From current requirements through to what’s ahead, this session will give you a practical, working understanding of the new Housing Code and where it fits into your next project.
Please note that this is a hybrid event so all are welcome to attend.
