Lightweight timber framing underpins most of Australia’s residential construction — but the standards around it are shifting faster than many realise. Timber Queensland invites BDQ Members to this technical seminar presented by WoodSolutions, delivering practical, project-level guidance for builders, architects, designers, engineers, and certifiers. No theory, no sales pitch — just clear direction on what complies, what performs, and what causes problems when missed.

• Changes to lightweight timber framing standards and implications for NCC, Australian Standards, and certification pathways
• Connectors and fixing systems — where rules apply and where errors occur
• Moisture and condensation risk management for Queensland’s humid climate
