For the Brisbane session, Cindy will also touch on outdoor structures, providing a natural segue into Michael Tyrrell’s Class 10 buildings and structures content.

Michael Tyrrell from BA&A will cover key design considerations for Class 10 elements under the National Construction Code (NCC), including fire rating requirements, sewer and storm water compliance under QDC MP1.4, and siting rules for local authorities in South East Queensland. Branden Ross from Building Approvals and Advice will share practical insights from hundreds of real-world projects, answering questions on patios, carports, sheds, and other Class 10a buildings.
